The writing is childish and horrible. Things like character removing same article of clothing twice in consecutive paragraphs. If you paid for a proof reader.... request your money back. Female lead makes women look like morons! From 1 sentence to the next she charges her mind about the relationship. Written like a script from the Jerry Springer show, completely trash! Will not be reading the rest of this series.

For an aloof billionaire, Simon can be oversentimental for a guy. The storyline is good but some bits felt like it took some effort to piece them together. And, understandably there has to be a cliffhanger at the end to propel the series forward, but honestly - slamming the door on the face of a guy who just supported you through a crisis and paid an ivy-league lawyer to ensure the safe return of your child lacks believability. I love Lexy Tims books, bit this is not her best work...

I liked the idea of it and like some of her other work, so I was willing to overlook that she always has cliffhangers. (Which I do NOT like) Our heroine was alllllll over the place, I felt like she was a rubber band. I've never felt like I could hear a screeching voice, but dang. She's supposed to be a smart, strong woman, so why can't she make up her mind? Or she just reads like a emotional mess, but not like she's getting through something, or that we can relate to. Not reading the sequel.
