This story will have you on the edge of your seat. The characters will captivate you. It seems your past always catches up to you.When growing up his mom worked three jobs to try and take care of her boys but the she got sick. He took a job doing things he wasn't proud of but he did what he had to do to survive.When his mom died he called his brother told him be ready an they ran to a small town starting over.Then Sarah a new reporter desperate to make a name for herself was writing a piece for the paper an on line. They went on a date an started to fall hard.There are so many twists an turns to this story that will keep you riveted until the very last page an leave you begging for more. I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes an you can feel their emotions an their pain. I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

This is a slow-burn romantic thriller. As the first part of a six-part series Lexy Timms takes the time to really flesh out the characters, making them believable. Jesse and his brother move to a small town. Jesse is a philanthropist which makes him interesting to Sarah who is a reporter. The fact that Jesse is smoking hot doesn't hurt either. What will Sarah's digging dredge up from Jesse's past and will it affect their fledgeling relationship? This book has definitely left me wanting more.
