About this ebook

Love a dark hitman and a strong heroine caught up in an arranged marriage? A sexy and darkly possessive hero from London's biggest organized crime family, and a drunken wedding night that puts the spicy in enemies-to-lovers?

ļ»æ

Blaine:

I hurt, break and kill for a living. The Family point, I deliver.

But this time, they ask too much. This time, they've arranged a marriage to the one woman who knows my secret. She has reason to hate me, I know, but I'll take her, I'll break her, and I'll make her mine.

That's the only way I can keep my secret.

Mira:

When I ran away eight years ago, I thought Iā€™d escaped the mafia world I'd known since birth.

I made a life for myself. I thought I was free. Then my past came knocking at my door.

Now Iā€™m forced to marry the son of Londonā€™s biggest crime family. A dark, possessive man who hates me as much as I hate him. Heā€™s ruthless, brutal, and dangerouslā€”everything Iā€™ve always feared.

He's taken away the life I built, he's taken my freedom. And now, I fear he's taken my sanity, too.

How else could he have turned from my enemy to my lover?

2 Stars for Blaine, negative 5 for Mira, the lead female. I don't think there has ever been a character I've detested more. Why make her a psychiatrist? She was completely clueless, half-wit, and so very childish. Almost everything that came out of her obnoxious mouth made me dislike her more. I did finish the book because of Blaine, but I didn't see anything strong about her, just because she can be verbally and even physically abusive with a man that is supposed to be so dangerous he is not to be messed with, doesn't make her strong. Even though he was a vicious mob man, after putting up with her, I am labeling him a saint.

The main female character in the book is supposed to be an intelligent college educated, independent woman. She supposedly can read body language and tell if your lying or telling the truth. The whole book she is more focused on herself than the big picture of what's really going on. Her husband told her from the beginning they have enemies. She keeps trying to escape her marriage that it makes her look stupid. She wants to leave danger, but she puts herself in danger. With her education she should have understood what was going on right in front of her. This book made her look weak and really stupid. The only good parts of the book was the hot sex.

This book would have been good had the author made the female protagonist a bit sensible. The author could have done so much better. The book literally makes her look more stupid than independent and brave.

About the author

I am Nora Ash, and I write a plethora of different romance books. Some of them are really dirty, some of them are only kinda-dirty, some are paranormal, some are contemporaryā€¦ Basically, I have a rampant imagination and no way of controlling it, except from just writing down whichever idea pops into my head at the time.

The one thing my books always have in common, though? A great story and a guaranteed HEA. Even if sometimes it takes a couple of books to get there!Ā

Iā€™m originally from the cold North (AKA Scandinavia) but these days I live in rainy England with my amazing fiancĆ© and our two pesty cats.

When Iā€™m not writing, Iā€™m probably reading, watching Real Housewives of Wherever (reality tv itā€™s my shameful addiction) or hiking in whatever bit of woodland I can find.

Three fun facts about me:Ā

1) I once ran away with a traveling circusĀ
2) Iā€™m a decent rider (English style only, though)Ā
3) Iā€™m bilingual. Almost-kinda trilingual, but my Spanish is terri-bad these days.
