About this ebook

Can this bad boy player score the good girl or will he fumble the pass?

I’m not the kind of girl people expect a football fan to be.

With my kitten sweaters and glasses, I look more like a librarian than a social media manager.

But managing Dakota “Sexiest Quarterback Alive” North?

Maybe I should have spent less time on kittens and more on studying self control.

Keeping his big mouth off the internet is one thing.

But now all his attention is on me.

And that mouth of his . . . well, talking isn’t the only thing it's good for.

I just have to get through the week, and my real life can begin. One week managing Dak 24/7. Just 168 hours of his relentless flirting and me pretending I’m not secretly in love with him.

I don’t need a tweet’s worth of characters to sum it up:

This player has broken through my defensive line.

We have nothing in common.

The way he looks at me, talks to me, is incredibly inappropriate.

So why hasn’t my body gotten the message?

It’s time for my head to talk to my heart—and other parts—to ask...

What is more important—losing my virginity to a bad boy quarterback or keeping my job?

Not all 'players' are players!!! Erin McCarthy is fast becoming one of my favorite authors, and Dating The Player shows why. This was a sweet yet sexy story of a star footballer and the nerdy girl’s whos been crushing on him. Eloise is ‘that’ girl! The sweet nerd who is in love with the player. Dak, has lived for football while quietly teasing Eloise, but his mouth and his penchant for Twitter has got him in the bad books once more. Eloise is sent with him on a trip home to visit his parents, she’s there to make sure he behaves. But the trip also gives them time to see who the other person really is. It’s not long before Dak is falling hard for his sassy, intelligent and determined girl. I fell for Dak with ease. He was sweet, strong and knew what he wanted once he found it. This was a fun, fast read that I devoured in one sitting. Grab your copy today.

Dating the Player is the first in Erin McCarthy’s Legends series. Dakota North, star quarterback, can’t stop flirting with Eloise Carter, one of the team media specialists. He’s got a larger than life personality and is one of those guys who can’t help but charm everyone from kids to their grandparents. And yes, he’s not big on impulse control so he sometimes—frequently—says things that get himself or the team into...situations. Eloise is kind of the opposite of that—tending towards introverted, very conscientious, and not a fan of the spotlight, she is determined to do her dream job well, especially when she’s given a special assignment to keep Dak from blowing up social media, again. Dating the Player is a terrific opposites-attract, playboy-virgin, sports romance, and Erin McCarthy's characters had me laughing and swooning. It's a fun, fast-paced read, and I can't wait for more in the series! * A version of Dating the Player was previously released as Big Player as part of the Size Matters series by Blake Wilder
