Trust when you read a Miles novel, that you will be pulled in, and there will be a lot going on. I'm always highly satisfied after reading her stories. There are twists. There are amazing characters. There's pain, heartache, redemption, love. When Ms. Miles writes a new story; I'm on her page, or rather pages. I enjoyed this series a lot! I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Dark and gritty with complicated plot twists and characters that aren't good or bad (or maybe they are?). I did read each of the books individually but seriously appreciated reading them as a series. There were important nuances I missed between books so they read much better as a set (not that they were bad before, but they were better together). This author's books feature dark histories, dramatic surprises and unexpected events and this books displays all these characteristics in a fast paced, edge of your seat read that will keep you entertained. I received an ARC for this book but did purchase it.

I loved this series. The twists were amazing! Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. But i loved every word! I loved Alex and her bravery! To be able to go through everything and still come out doing what she did, it was amazing. A perfect read.
