Another visit to Stone Ridge, involving a baby, a cowboy and a young woman planning on leaving town. Out of the blue, a past hoookup stands on his doorstep and hands over a baby, saying g this his, needs downtime and will be back in a week. He turns to Lucy for help, who has some understanding as she was left on the church steps, to be adopted and brought up by a local couple. Everyone believes they belong together, but timing, circumstances and hidden feelings have stood in their way. The child is the catalyst in a chain of events. Emotions and doubts run regularly through them and disappointment also plays its part, as this couple hover and above and around the situation
